Rick Aeschliman studied Fine Art at San Jose State University and De Anza College in the Bay area, and holds degrees in both Fine Art and Business. After a 25-year career in accounting and corporate finance, Rick resumed painting in 2002. As an emerging artist, the beautiful images that Rick paints reflect his passion for the Sierra and his gift for capturing “the moment” in a special sense of light and color. Rick dedicates his talent to benefit non-profit organizations.
He is currently working on the third of a series of four paintings to benefit the NorCal Collie Rescue. He also recently created a painting for CALTROUT, a statewide fisheries conservation group. The proceeds from sale of this painting benefit efforts to save our California state fish, the Golden trout. His work is held in private collections nationally and in Canada.
