- Dale Carlsen -
Founder, President and CEO of the Sleep Train, Inc., a specialty sleep store chain, Mr. Carlsen is always ready to offer a business perspective to his outside endeavors. He is very active in many youth-oriented community programs and makes donations to a variety of charities through his business.
- Barbara Dolder -
Executive Director of Roseville Arts! (formerly Roseville Art Center) since 1982, Ms. Dolder has her finger on the pulse of Roseville’s local arts community. With an extensive background in art history, fine art and graphic design, she contributes a well-trained eye to our competition.
- Claudia Gamar-Heinlein -
Ms. Gamar-Heinlein is very active in our local community. A former mayor of Roseville, she is involved with many community projects and issues. Serving on the boards of several arts-related and service organizations, her background is in marketing and public relations.
- Scott Johnston -
Scott Johnston is the assistant news and business editor for The Roseville Press-Tribune, our local newspaper. Having worked in most of the different departments of newspapers, Mr. Johnston brings his own journalistic point of view to his duties as a judge.
- Wendy Sipple -
Wendy Sipple, along with her husband Terry Carroll, founded Sierrastyle Publishing over two years ago. As publisher of Luxury Living, Roseville Granite Bay Style and Folsom El Dorado Hills Style magazines, she offers a professional viewpoint as she judges the finalists in this years art competition.

- Mike Ziegler – President and CEO of PRIDE Industries,
Ziegler is very active within the local
community. He received the “Exemplary
Leader Award” in 2002 from the American
Leadership Forum.
- Mayor “Rocky” Rockholm
– Rockholm has lived in
Placer County for 28 years As former Roseville
Planning Commissioner and 15-year veteran
of the Roseville Police Department, the
city’s current Mayor is well connected
to the community.
- Wendy Gerig – Gerig
is the current CEO of the Roseville Chamber
of Commerce. Her work in this capacity
seeks to foster fiscal strength and community
involvement of businesses within the city.
- Ed Canale – As
Executive VP of Strategic Planning and
New Media for The Sacramento Bee, Canale
has his finger directly on the pulse of
the local community. The Sacramento Bee,
a McClatchy Newspaper, has been contributing
to the community since 1857.
Tom Sullivan – A popular radio personality, business
editor and talk show host for KFBK, Sacramento,
Sullivan is always ready to offer a business
perspective in a way that resonates with
his listeners.
