The judges for the 2006-2007 Greater Sacramento Directory included the following local celebrities or community leaders:

Marsha Holmes, Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission - The “2005 Elk Grove Citizen of The Year”. Marsha Holmes is on the Sacramento Metropolitan Arts Commission, Elk Grove Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Sacramento History Center and Soroptimist International of Elk Grove just to name a few! Of all her many activities, she is probably best known for her involvement with the Strauss Festival. She was a charter member of the committee, headed by Iris Zimbelman, which created the original festival now held annually before 30,000 spectators in Elk Grove Regional Park.

Kim Rhinehelder, P.R. Officer Sierra Adoption Services - Kim Rhinehelder is very involved in the community and is the Public Relations Officer
for Sierra Adoption Services, one of the top four non-profits that the SureWest Foundation supports every year. She has provided leadership in raising over 2 million
dollars for children with special needs to have a permanent home. Kim received her BA in Communication Studies from Sacramento State University. In 1998 she became a Certified Fund Raising Executive and is a former SAS Employee of the Year.

Jane Hagedorn, CEO Breathe California of Sacramento-Emigrant Trails, Inc. - Jane Hagedorn has worked with the Association
providing innovative grassroots program initiatives both locally and nationally
in pursuit of its mission as the Clean Air and Healthy Lungs People since 1976. Some of Hagedorn’s extensive public service
activities have included Board leadership
roles on the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency, Arden Park and Recreation District, Sacramento County Planning Commission, Friends of Light Rail, Planning and Conservation
League, Sacramento Tomorrow Coalition, and the Sacramento Symphony. She was the founding President of the Sacramento Tree Foundation and the statewide
California Oak Foundation.

Paul Conley, Arts Editor/Host Capitol Public Radio - A native Northern Californian, Paul Conley was raised in Stockton, where his family
has operated various restaurants for the past three decades. His professional start in radio came in 1989 when he was hired to host “Delta Breeze”, a nightly contemporary
jazz show on Stockton station KJOY. In 1996, Conley began working as a station based producer for Jazz Profiles, NPR’s Peabody Award-winning documentary
series hosted by singer Nancy Wilson. Conley became Capital Public Radio’s first Arts & Features Editor in the Fall of 2001 and currently oversees CPR’s in-house and freelance staff of arts reporters.
